Hinterland
By Road
A dense road network links the PSA Antwerp terminals directly with France, Germany, the Netherlands, United Kingdom and off course all destinations within Belgium itself. As most of the important European highways cross Belgium and Antwerp, also peripheral industrial and consumption regions can be easily accessed.

For a smoother road transport, PSA has developed a web application for the pre-notification of truck visits (TAMS).
By Barge
The Antwerp port is located in the Rhine-Scheldt Delta and is thereby connected to a vast network of inland waterways. Frequent inland connections are offered between the PSA Antwerp Terminals and inland terminals in the Netherlands, Germany, France, Austria and Switzerland.

PSA Antwerp has developed an application for smoother handling of barges at its terminals. Pre-notification via CBPA (Central Barge Planning) makes it possible to avoid peak periods. Thanks to this pre-notification, barge visits to the different terminals can be perfectly matched.
By Rail
All our terminals in the port of Antwerp are linked to the European rail network. Antwerp is one of the leading rail ports in Europe with a yearly rail volume of over 23 million tons of goods. In the meantime works are ongoing to construct the Liefkenshoek rail tunnel. With this tunnel, a second link between Left and Right bank will be taken into use.
