Hinterland Connections
The port of Antwerp is located alongside the river Scheldt, some 80 km south of its estuary in the North Sea. Thanks to this inland location, the PSA Antwerp terminals are very well positioned to serve its hinterland. Perfect connections, both via road, water and rail bring your cargo smoothly to and from the production and consumption centres in the region, faster than from any other European port.
Greater draught and wider tide windows
The 3rd deepening of the river Scheldt have been completed succesfully. As a consequence new sailing regulations have been introduced for the port of Antwerp.
