Job description

Will you be our new project manager for IT infrastructure? You will coordinate (medium) large innovation projects and technical infrastructure projects. You will outline the timings and you will ensure a meticulous follow-up of the planning and the budget - with an eye for the agreed quality standards. 
 
You easily work together with several contacts. Internal customers, users, architects, ... But also with our line management, external suppliers and various stakeholders. You form one block together to achieve the predetermined goals. To this end, you are technically and substantively trained in various technology areas such as networks, (virtual) servers, work space, ... And you easily handle things in terms of storage, email and data management.  You will communicate in a clear way with the line organization. And you will watch over ICT policy, ICT architecture and ICT standards within all projects.
 
You will also lead multidisciplinary project teams on a daily basis. And you will report about your work. 
 
Your responsibilities? 
  • Project plan delivery 
    • You immerse yourself into the business case of your internal customer. 
    • You work out the project plan together with the stakeholders. You check with them and you will define all the objectives. 
    • You draft a project briefing, project initiation document and other project related documentation. 

       
  • Project realisation
    • You implement the project planning according to the PSA project model (based on PRINCE2).
    • You are in charge of planning, delegating, controlling and managing all aspects of your projects.
    • You lead the project teams, both for work packages and products.
    • You control the project budget and quickly respond to possible anomalies, potential problems and risks.
    • You  report on the progress to the customer and other stakeholders.
    • You deliver the results to the customer.
    • You organize project related meetings and events. You write minutes and you report - also for formal board meetings.
    • You make standard project documentation and you keep it up-to-date.
    • You proactively respond to any objections of the change and stakeholder management.
    • You limit any risks as much as possible and prevent problems from escalating.
    • You constantly focus on quality management and you accurately fine-tune the 'Definition of  done' with your team. In this, you emphasize learning from mistakes, so you keep the lessons learned-logs in mind.
    • You apply configuration management.
    • You only send the projects to the line organization if you are absolutely certain that the incident, change and request fulfillment processes are fully completed. And you double check whether the line organizations completely understands. 

       
  • Administrative project follow-up 
    • You collect all project-related documentation throughout the project cycle.
    • You consistently keep your project administration in a project management tool.
    • You ensure that all administration is clear to the customers during the entire project cycle.

       
  • Project standards and methodology
    • You are responsible for the follow-up of all standards, processes, procedures, work instructions and regulations within the ICT business.
    • You actively develop the project management processes and procedures.

Profile

You have completed an ICT training (at least bachelor level). And you acquired at least seven years of experience related to the management of medium-sized projects. You obtained a certificate for PRINCE2, PMP or IPMA. Or you master the project methodology, which is being applied in large IT companies.
 
Project management tools have no secrets for you. Can you also handle Fortes Change Cloud easily?  Then you do have an advantage! Dutch and English are languages in which you can easily express yourself. Anyone who speaks more languages scores extra points.
 
You also communicate effectively with people at every level of the organization. And you like to work in a team. You enjoy taking initiatives yourself. Tight deadlines and goals do not hinder you, on the contrary, they challenge you. A strong dose of organizational talent flows through your veins. You act in a responsible and flexible way.  And you are demanding when required. Finally, you feel completely at ease in the multicultural world of the port of Antwerp

In Antwerp, PSA operates 3 container terminals: 2 of which are 100% PSA owned (Noordzee terminal and Europa terminal) and is a 1 joint venture with TIL (MSC): the ‘MSC PSA European Terminal’, in short MPET. In 2015, PSA Antwerp and MPET established the subsidiary company ‘Antwerp Terminal Services’ (ATS) to integrate operational activities in a joint structure. ATS supports both companies in the following areas: Technical services, HSSE (Safety, Health, Security and Environment) and barge planning.
