Aprojects and PSA Breakbulk kick off promising partnership

1 February 2023 | Today, Aprojects, PSA Breakbulk and the Havenbedrijf kicked off a major collaboration at Antwerp's Bosuilstadion. Together we are laying the foundations for a new sustainable logistics platform next to the PSA Breakbulk terminal.

On our concession at Churchilldok, we are building a Project Cargo Ecosystem together. Mainly with a focus on supporting projects for various industrial players, we are committed to large-scale infrastructure adjustments within the Port of Antwerp-Bruges.

By developing this new logistics platform, we can offer our customers with large project cargo a 'one-stop-shop' concept. This is fully in line with our 'alongside our customers' strategy. This new concept obviously poses some challenges: space and handling of project cargo at one central location.

The new Aprojects site comprises two separate warehouses of 8,000 square metres connected by a canopy of some 4,000 square metres. The site has multimodal access: on the waterfront, a deep-sea quay via PSA Breakbulk guarantees that even the largest cargo ships can dock there. The new Aprojects site can call on the heavy lift infrastructure of PSA Breakbulk, which in turn is partnering with Felbermayr, an Austrian heavy-duty transport specialist.
