3 April 2017 |  Over the years, we have provided financial and logistical support to a variety of welfare organizations, championing projects close to the hearts of our people. As from 2017, we will be focussing 100% on poverty in Belgium, with the focus on youngsters. In addition to providing financial and material support to charities and local welfare organizations who target youngsters living in poverty, also our staff will roll up their sleeves to really make a difference as a company.

4 April 2017 | We hereby cordially invite you to visit us at the transport logistic Munich fair from 9 to 12 May 2017, to discover our latest developments and to discuss your maritime and hinterland flows and all products offered by PSA Antwerp (e.g. stuffing and stripping).

24 March 2017 | On 23 March the Zhen Hua 24 has arrived in the Antwerp port with on board four mega-cranes of which two are destined for the Noordzee Terminal of PSA Antwerp and two for the MSC PSA European Terminal (MPET). The new cranes are over 130 meters in height and can reach across 25 rows of containers making them fully capable of handling the world’s largest containerships. These dual hoist cranes can handle two 40’ containers or four 20’ containers simultaneously.

20 March 2017 | Trucks coming to load or unload containers at MPET will also be able to call at night as of 20 March 2017. Thanks to the extended working hours, MPET quay 1742 will be open non-stop from 05:30h on Monday morning to 05:30h on Saturday morning.

21 December 2017 | On 21 December 2016, PSA Antwerp and MSC PSA European Terminal (MPET) jointly achieved for the first time in the terminal’s history a record container throughput of 10 million TEUs in one year. The 10 MTEU water-bound containers include both sea-going and inland navigation volumes.

9 November 2017 | Given fluctuating water levels on the Rhine, transporting containers by rail can be an alternative for your cargo. In this respect we would like to recall the New Alsace Flanders Express calling PSAA’s Noordzee terminal. This rail product connects Antwerp with Strasbourg (and vice versa) with a frequency of 5 roundtrips per week in less than 24 hours. For more information and inquiries, check out the PSA Antwerp CY network mini-site: CY Strasbourg.

20 October 2017 | As from Mid-October MPET/Q1742 is directly connected by rail with Venlo and Duisburg. During the start-up phase MPET/Q1742 will be served once per week, calling on Tuesday in Antwerp.

“For Venlo, Logistics Hotspot Nr. 1 of the Netherlands, the port of Antwerp is a strategic partner. This upgraded rail product now offering a direct connection to the single largest container terminal in Europe is a milestone for our region”, says Hans Cabooter.

At PSA, we strive to create a thriving environment in which we recognize and celebrate the inventiveness and creativity of our people. Therefore, we constantly encourage our staff to contribute ideas and solutions.

In October 2016, we launched another initiative to foster the three necessary ingredients of "Imagination, Information and Initiative" for a strong and sustainable innovation culture to take root within our company.

Each year, PSA launches the annual Go Green Fortnight, a Group-wide green initiative aimed at promoting environmental awareness and action within our global family. During this period, all PSA companies and staff around the world are encouraged to contribute towards creating environmentally-friendly work communities.
