On 20 September 2015, Antwerp, Ghent, Zeebrugge and Ostend jointly organized the fourth edition of the Flemish Port Day. PSA Antwerp and MPET opened the doors to the Deurganck Terminal, giving the general public the rare opportunity to visit all areas 'backstage' and experience container operations from close by.

The theme was 'MPET & PSA in the Mix' and included informative bus tours around the terminal, an event zone featuring a live DJ, food and beverage trucks and a children's village.

At PSA, we believe that innovation is one of the main pillars for economic growth in the future. To keep moving forward, we gave our employees the proper tools to allow ideas to emerge and to keep innovation alive.

PSA Antwerp sponsored a solo art exhibition called ‘Alongside’, by Belgian artist Daisy Boman.

For almost a month, the lobby of the PSA Antwerp HQ served as a public exposition space, open to visitors from Monday till Friday during office hours. It was a joy for employees working alongside these great artworks!

In 2014, PSA Antwerp invested significantly in making its car and machine fleet greener by purchasing 11 electric quay cars and 2 hybrid straddle carriers. Using these electric cars (Renault Zoë), PSA Antwerp can lower its environmental impact by 29.53 tonnes of CO² emission per year.

Since 2012, PSA Antwerp has been partner to the ‘New Belgica’; a social project whereby unemployed youngsters are given training and employment opportunities by building a museum replica of the original ‘Belgica’ sailing vessel. With our support, materials are purchased and recruitment and training is organized.

In addition, our employees are actively involved and are given the opportunity to acquaint themselves with the building process through several initiatives and construction yard visits.

The Elephant Parade is an international organization that raises money to save the Asian elephant, which is threatened with extinction. They do this by organising outdoor exhibitions. Artists and famous residents of the city or region, decorate statues of elephants that are exhibited on the streets.
After the exhibition, the artworks are auctioned. All profits go to the organization and the rescue of elephants.
